At Novopilus we perform hair transplantation minimal invasive surgery FUE. In some cases it is prefered the old method, but we mainly perform the FUE method.
This method is shortly described in the picture. We take hair follicule from the back and side of scalp and then tranfer it to the front and up.

In FUE method we harvest hair follicles from behind the scalp and lateral side of the scalp, and then transfer to the front side of the scalp.
In Strip/FUT method, numbers of harvested hair follicles are more but it leaves a thin line in the back of the head.
FUT and FUE methods are very gentle methods and recognized as minimally invasive procedures.
You are going to have some amount of pain, but it is manageable with normal daily painkiller for headaches and we will give you some after operation.
You will be able to go back to work after the operation.
Going back to work depends on the kind of work the patient does. Patients who do labor intensive work may need to stay at home 2-3 days after the operation.
For the recipient’s area, it needs to be just washed gently with baby shampoo. The day after the operation, just rinsing with water and then for the first seven days do not massage or peel the recipient’s area.
You cannot use any brushes or combs.
Summarizing the recovery is to be gentle, do not brush or comb the area, do not wear any hats, and be careful for seven days with the donor area.
Like all operations, you can get infection, so we will usually give our patients prophylactic antibiotics in 7 days.
Pain is manageable with the usual painkillers.
You can go to work after 2-3 days.
You can go to Gym after 7 days.
